Several nights in one arrangement, written in advance

Some guests are in London for a week rather than an evening, and would rather write one arrangement than send eight separate messages. An extended booking is exactly that. Several nights, or a run of days with the evenings inside them, agreed as one thing and quoted as one figure rather than assembled hour by hour from the card.

A weekend is quoted on request rather than listed, because no two of them are the same shape. Beyond an overnight at £1,800 for ten hours, the arithmetic stops being a ladder and becomes a conversation. That conversation happens before any money moves, and the number you are given is the number you pay.

Ladies the host suggests most often for this kind of evening. Any name on the list can be asked for.

What extended actually means here

Usually two to four nights, occasionally a full week, either as consecutive overnights or as a set of long evenings across a stay. The host will ask what the days look like, because a guest working from nine until seven with three free evenings needs an entirely different arrangement from somebody in London purely for pleasure. The answer shapes both the figure and, more importantly, which names on the list can realistically clear that much of a week.

She is not on duty every hour

The most useful thing to understand about a long booking is that nobody is company for seventy two consecutive hours, and any arrangement pretending otherwise falls apart by the second afternoon. A good extended booking has air in it. She sleeps, she goes to the gym, she has a few hours of her own while you work, and she is genuinely present for the parts that matter. The host writes those hours into the arrangement explicitly so that neither of you is guessing at what was meant.

Where a long stay works best

A suite or a serviced apartment beats a standard room by a considerable margin once you pass a single night, for the ordinary reason that two people need somewhere to put their things and somewhere to sit that is not the bed. The larger houses around Oxford Circus and out towards Fitzrovia suit these bookings better than the small Soho townhouses, which are wonderful for a night and cramped by the third one. The host will say so honestly if you describe the room.

05 · Extended bookings

The deposit and what it protects

Half the arrangement by bank transfer holds it, and the portion covering travel or rooms cannot be refunded once it has been spent on your behalf. For a booking that takes most of somebody's week out of the diary, that is simply the honest number. The balance is settled in cash on arrival or by a second transfer beforehand. If the plan changes at your end the host tells you precisely what has already gone and what has not, rather than keeping the lot and going quiet.

Names who suit a long stay

Samanta is slim, 174 cm and the most comfortable of them all with a week that has both working days and evenings in it. Violetta is thirty and brings the poise a long stay with formal dinners inside it needs. Michelle is warm across days rather than just across an evening, which is a different quality entirely. Sonya is thirty two, athletic and excellent company at breakfast. All four have taken multi night arrangements before, and several also appear under thirties or slender.

07 · Extended bookings

Changing plans mid arrangement

Long bookings move, because trips move. A meeting is added, a flight is brought forward, a dinner appears on the Thursday that was supposed to be free. Tell the host as soon as you know and the arrangement is rewritten around it, with any difference in hours settled at the end rather than argued about in the middle. Fees are for time and companionship only across every night of it, exactly as they are for a single hour, and the frequently asked questions page answers the rest.

Extended bookings, asked at the door

Short, plain answers. Anything else, the host takes by message at any hour.

As one quoted figure rather than a stack of overnights, because the shape of the days changes what is actually being arranged. You are given the total in writing before any deposit is sent.

Yes, and then it is written as a travel arrangement with the same half deposit. Tell the host at the outset if any part of the stay involves leaving London, since it changes both the quote and the paperwork.

They are her own. A long arrangement is written with those hours marked out explicitly, which keeps the booking honest and keeps her genuinely good company for the parts you are actually there for.

As early as you can. Clearing several nights from a diary is the hardest scheduling this house does, and a fortnight's notice opens up far more of the guest list than a day's does.
